Sales Representative
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of all outreach activity, opportunities, and pipeline status in the company CRM system.
- Utilize AI-assisted sales messaging tools to personalize outreach at scale and improve email and call effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Inside Sales Manager to refine scripts, messaging strategies, and outreach sequencing.
- Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs for call volume, email volume, scheduled appointments, and schools enrolled.
- Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of Smile America Partners' programs, service offerings, and school district partnerships.
- Participate in team sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews on a regular basis.
- Provide market feedback to management on competitive landscape, school responses, and objections encountered in the field.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of demonstrated inside sales experience in a B2B or high-volume outbound sales environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales activity metrics including daily call and email quotas.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect quickly with school administrators and decision-makers.
- Organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage a high-activity daily schedule independently.
- Comfort with rejection and persistence in outbound prospecting; resilient and goal-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Preferred (Highly Valued)
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., ACT, SalesForce.com, Dynamics, or similar) for pipeline tracking, activity logging, and reporting.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered sales tools for messaging optimization, email personalization, or call preparation (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude AI, or similar).
- Experience selling to educational institutions, school districts, or public sector organizations.
- Familiarity with healthcare, dental, or wellness-related services a plus.
- Prior experience calling on schools or school administrators is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of 3 years of directly related job experience accepted in lieu of degree.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE
Full-time, on-site position at Smile America Partners' corporate office in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Standard business hours aligned with school district operating schedules across Eastern and Central time zones.
Performance-driven, fast-paced, team-oriented sales floor environment with regular coaching and performance feedback.
