Responsibilities
- Class A CDL Driver: Drives commercial vehicle to assigned stores; delivers & merchandises product; processes invoices; maintains orderly area in stock rooms.
- Data Entry Clerk: Updates incoming truck schedule; reconciles inbound freight Bills of Lading; requests return authorization #s; requests correction order #s; maintains trucking log; keys route and warehouse damages; updates Chep log and website.
- Dollar Channel Service Representative: Maintains positive customer relations in strictly Dollar Channel accounts; carries cell phone 24/7 for customer service purposes.
- Equipment Maintenance Tech: Performs property maintenance duties; assists service technicians in the shop and on the road.
- Loading Swingman: Manually selects & loads cases of beverages onto pallets; alternates to operate forklift to load pallets onto trucks.
- Maintenance Worker: Performs custodial activities; pulls orders for front desk.
- Mercandiser: Drives company vehicle to assigned stores; rotates product; stocks shelves/coolers/vendors; builds displays; maintains orderly area in stock rooms.
- Part-Time Merchandiser: Merchandises products at customers’ locations; goal is to meet/exceed customers’ expectations of quality service.
- Sales and Service Representative: Maintains positive customer relations; runs presales routes in absence of representatives; performs other sales-related duties as assigned.
- Sales Representative: Establishes and maintains ‘ownership’ of assigned accounts through positive customer relations and effective marketing, sales, and merchandising of products/packaging to achieve sales goals.
Qualifications
- Class A CDL Driver: Must be at least 21 years old; high school diploma or GED; Class A CDL and good driving record; merchandising and customer service skills; able to safely and repetitively lift, carry, and stack product weighing up to 50 lbs.; able to safely operate a powered pallet jack and manual pallet jack and handtruck with a load of up to 500 lbs.
- Data Entry Clerk: Must possess High school diploma or GED; at least 18 years of age; basic computer, data entry & math skills; able to efficiently and effectively perform activities under time constraints and on days/hours scheduled by supervisor.
- Dollar Channel Service Representative: Minimum 21 years of age; high school diploma or GED; Louisiana class D chauffeur’s license or willing to obtain within 90 days and a good driving record; marketing, sales, organizational, and customer service skills required; ability to communicate successfully with customers and others; ability to problem-solve; able to safely and repetitively lift, carry, and stack product weighing up to 50 lbs.; able to safely operate a hand truck with a load of up to 200 lbs.; able to efficiently and effectively perform activities under strict time constraints and on days/hours scheduled by supervisor.
- Equipment Maintenance Tech: Minimum 21 years of age; valid LA driver’s license and a good driving record; willing to upgrade license to a Class D license within 90 days; able to manually maneuver vending equipment weighing up to 600 lbs. and lift, carry, and stack supplies weighing up to 100 lbs. in a safe manner; able to bend, squat, reach, and climb; mechanically inclined.
- Loading Swingman: Must be at least 18 years old; forklift-certified and walkie rider certified; able to read and count, walk/stand/stretch/bend/climb, and lift/carry/stack product weighing up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis throughout work shift and occasionally 50 lbs.
- Maintenance Worker: Minimum 18 years of age; working level of warehouse activities; able to safely lift, carry, and stack product weighing up to 60 lbs.; power pallet jack certified and able to safely operate a manual and power pallet jack, as well as a handtruck, without causing injury or damage to self, coworkers, product, or equipment; able to understand and follow verbal or written instructions and work harmoniously with others; able to efficiently and effectively perform activities on days/hours scheduled by supervisor.
- Mercandiser: Minimum 21 years of age; high school diploma or GED; Louisiana driver’s license and good driving record; merchandising and customer service skills; ability to problem-solve, read, and write; able to safely and repetitively lift, carry, and stack product weighing up to 50 lbs.; able to operate a manual pallet jack, cart, and a handtruck with a full load of up to 220 lbs.
- Part-Time Merchandiser: Minimum 18 years of age; merchandising and customer service skills; ability to problem-solve, read, and write; able to safely and repetitively lift, carry, and stack product weighing up to 50 lbs.; able to operate a manual pallet jack, cart, and a handtruck with a full load of up to 220 lbs.; able to communicate successfully with Company personnel, co-workers, and customers; able to efficiently and effectively perform activities under strict time constraints.
- Sales and Service Representative: Minimum 21 years of age; Louisiana class D chauffeur’s license and good driving record; high school diploma or GED; marketing, sales, organizational, and customer service skills; ability to communicate successfully with customers and others; ability to problem-solve, operate a hand-held computer, and perform basic mathematical calculations; able to safely and repetitively lift, carry, and stack product weighing up to 60 lbs.; able to safely operate a hand truck with a load of up to 350 lbs.
- Sales Representative: Must be at least 21 years old; valid LA driver’s license and good driving record; demonstrated computer/sales/marketing/organizational/customer service skills; able to communicate successfully with customers and others; able to safely and repetitively lift, carry, and stack product weighing up to 60 lbs.

Pay

Schedule
- Class A CDL Driver: Monday – Fridays, rotates Saturdays; depending on deliveries, reports to work between 3-6 a.m., works an average 10-hour day.
- Data Entry Clerk: Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; occasionally, shift may end at 2 p.m., if trucks run late.
- Dollar Channel Service Representative: Monday – Friday, occasionally Saturday and holidays required; starting time is 7:30 a.m. Works until assigned duties have been completed; typical workday is 8-10 hours; carries cell phone 24/7 for customer service purposes.
- Equipment Maintenance Tech: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- Loading Swingman: Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays; 10:30 a.m. until finished (approx. 8 to 11:00 p.m.).
- Maintenance Worker: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime.
- Mercandiser: 5 a.m. until finished (typical workday is 8-10 hours); five days per week, including weekends and holidays.
- Part-Time Merchandiser: Part-Time: Works as assigned, typically up to 28 hours per week; starting time is 5 p.m. and ending time is 9 p.m. Typical workday is 3-4 hours.
- Sales and Service Representative: Monday – Friday, Saturday/holiday rotation and as otherwise required; typical workdays begin at 5 a.m. and end at approximately 3 p.m.
- Sales Representative: Mon-Fri; typical workday begins 5-6:30 a.m. until all work has been completed & properly processed; Avg. 9–10-hour workdays; occasional weekends as required.
