About the role

The primary responsibility of a sales representative and distributor is to attract prospective buyers, sell and execute sales transactions, develop and implement marketing strategies, provide buyers with details and know-how of the item sold, service existing accounts, obtain orders, establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules, keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information, resolve customer complaints, maintain professional and technical knowledge of the items the factory is selling, and maintain historical records on area and customer sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that meet the organization's business targets.
  • Provide buyers with details and know-how of the item sold to them.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the items the factory is selling.
  • Provides and maintains historical records on area and customer sales.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current market place information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc...
  • Solves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

  • Good marketing skills to enable them to present a persuasive picture of items being sold

  • Familiar with current local Lebanese market conditions
