About the role
CONMED is seeking a Sales Representative to join our advanced surgical sales force in New York City. This role involves selling innovative technology to specialties such as OBGYN, Colorectal, Urology, and General Surgery to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Sell innovative technology to the OBGYN, Colorectal, Urology, and General Surgery spaces
- Collaborate with key decision-makers such as surgeons, nurses, OR managers, and other healthcare workers
- Work with CONMED leadership and peers to support professional growth
- Deliver exceptional results while embracing a people-first culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree + 2 years outside sales experience (medical device, B2B, or healthcare preferred)
- Candidates without a bachelor’s degree must have 6+ years of outside sales experience (medical device, B2B, or healthcare preferred)
- Currently employed as a CONMED Associate Sales Representative
- Approximately 20% travel
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to drive an automobile
Qualifications
- Medical device or surgical sales experience preferred
- Experience in operating room environments
- Knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures, or clinical workflows
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environments

- Extensive hands-on training

Pay
On-target earnings (OTE): $220,000 - $270,000 (based on achieving expected performance goals)
