About the role

As a New Installations (NI) Sales Representative, you’ll identify opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information to locate sources for the sale of company products and services. You’ll contribute to enhancing quality of life for communities by making places more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary design work with architects and general contractors.
• Develop budgets and schedules.
• Read and understand job plans and specifications.
• Prepare estimates, bid proposals, and presentations to win sales.
• Meet and/or exceed assigned sales and customer objectives.
• Analyze customer needs and secure business through company products and services.
• Maintain favorable client relationships.
• Assess and resolve customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Communicate necessary information to customers and internal operations to achieve sales cost objectives.
• Develop negotiating strategies with minimal supervision, aligning with internal product strategy and customer requirements.
• Plan and implement sales strategies for specific negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or minimum of 3 years of industry sales experience.
• Elevator industry or business-to-business sales experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Lotus Notes, and SAP is preferred.
