Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources in the medical community
- Obtain a predetermined number of CPAP referrals per month
- Identify and develop new referral sources
- Obtain a predetermined number of CPAP setups from new referral sources each month
- Prepare for and participate in trade shows, exhibits, and advertising campaigns
- Conduct in-service for referral sources educating them in the use and application of equipment
- Initiate resolution to complaints from referral sources with the appropriate management
- Prepare and submit approved plans for sales territory management
- Input and maintain the company's Sales Tracking System (STS) and submit reports as requested
- Follow up on lost-to-competition referral sources or users to identify problems with products or services and report to management
- Aid in the preparation of sales forecasts
- Provide marketing information to management as requested and/or made available
- Understand and provide information on Medicare and insurance procedures, pricing information, and product information to referral sources
- Assist the center in the assurance of clean paperwork before packages are sent to accounting for billing and collections activities by conducting follow-up visits to the physicians to obtain prescriptions for services
- May be required to set up patient where allowed by state regulation
