Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within an assigned territory or account, focusing on new and existing business.
- Secure and maintain product distribution, provide pricing, negotiate sales agreements, and manage effective contracts.
- Develop, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to maintain a robust sales opportunity pipeline.
- Satisfy existing customer needs and expand business by building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate with the design department to improve existing packaging designs and develop new solutions for customers.
- Review sales opportunities, challenges, and procedural efficiency with the sales manager; recommend improvements.
- Manage overall account responsibilities, including recordkeeping, credit applications, forecasts, budgets, and collections from delinquent accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3–5 years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record for the last three years (required for company vehicle or reimbursement).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, self-motivate, manage time effectively, and commit to individual and team success.
- Strong independent judgment for negotiating sales agreements and handling difficult or sensitive accounts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of experience in corrugated material or paper sales.

- Starting salary range: $100,000 – $140,000.
- Paid vacation: Three weeks per calendar year (pro-rated during the first year based on start date).
