SALES REP

About the role
The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned territory or account. This includes securing and maintaining product distribution, negotiating pricing, and managing sales agreements. They will also be responsible for creating and monitoring lead generation plans to maintain a strong sales opportunity pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within an assigned territory or account.
- Secure and maintain distribution of products and/or services, providing pricing and negotiating sales agreements.
- Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
- Satisfy existing customer needs and expand existing business by fostering and maintaining customer relationships.
- Coordinate with the design department to improve existing designs and develop new ones.
- Review opportunities and problems, and the efficiency of existing procedures with the sales manager, recommending areas for improvement.
- Oversee overall account management, including recordkeeping, credit applications, forecasts, budgets, and credit collections from delinquent accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years of experience in outside sales with a proven track record of success.
- Valid drivers license and good driving record for the past 3 years.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, manage time effectively, and commit to individual and team success.
- Experience in corrugated material or paper sales is preferred.
Qualifications
- Basic qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant sales experience.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of experience in corrugated material or paper sales.

- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
