What does a day as a Sales Relationship Specialist look like?
- Makes outbound calls to members or prospective members.
- Engages with members to understand their financial needs and share options.
- Refers ancillary products that benefit each member.
- Manages time effectively to meet sales targets.
- Provides prompt, accurate, courteous, and professional service.
- Identifies cross-sell opportunities for credit union products.
- Maintains member account information accurately.
Schedule
The position is on-site with hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required for exceptional service, but efforts are made to balance work and personal life.
Qualifications
- Sales or banking experience preferred.
- A two-year college degree or equivalent specialized training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
- Goal-oriented mindset.
- Professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Significant work over the phone, requiring listening, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Comfortable with receiving ongoing performance feedback and coaching.
