About the role
The Sales Operations Manager will join the Nelson Stud Welding Commercial Sales team, working as an on-site employee. They will be responsible for managing Salesforce.com, tracking sales incentive plans, inventory management, market tracking, pricing management, order entry, marketing activities, product launches, and more.
Responsibilities
- Manage Salesforce.com for leads, opportunities, and pipeline
- Track and report on Sales Incentive Plans
- Manage distribution inventory and set up DRP processes
- Conduct market tracking and research
- Manage pricing, including margin analysis and price approvals
- Monitor and enforce order entry guidelines and policies
- Aid in marketing activities such as sales promotions, campaigns, trade shows, and membership in industry organizations
- Assist with product launches, program continuations, and specific tasks
- Create new part numbers, Bill of Materials (BOM), Material Requirement Planning (MRP) data, and routing
- Develop new applications and participate in the Engineering Change Notification (ECN) process
- Coordinate product testing and design
- Provide quotes, cost analysis, lead times, and prices
- Configure and cost systems
- Support engineering change notifications and product testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with Marketing Automation Systems
- Experience with technology platforms such as Salesforce.com, ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems, CAD systems, and database management
- Effective project management skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Solid analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business

Pay
The salary range for this position is $77,600 - $124,900 annually. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors including job level, geographic location, and performance.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is typically full-time.
