Sales Operations Coordinator
Sales Support
- Follow up on quotations to determine project status and next steps.
- Maintain ongoing communication with architects, glazing contractors, general contractors, owners, and distributors.
- Aid outside sales representatives with project updates and customer follow-up.
- Track bid results and identify opportunities for project conversion.
- Cover sample requests, literature, and product information.
- Coordinate order acknowledgments with manufacturers.
- Monitor production schedules.
- Track deliveries and communicate shipping updates.
- Cover delivery address changes and resolve shipping issues.
- Aid with warranty requests and project closeout documentation.
Customer Service
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects.
- Respond promptly to customer questions regarding pricing, schedules, deliveries, and technical information.
- Build long-term relationships through proactive communication.
- Resolve customer issues while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in commercial construction, architectural products, building materials, glazing, manufacturing, or construction project coordination.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience using CRM or ERP software.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Experience with manufacturer's representatives.
- Knowledge of architectural drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with glazing systems, rainscreens, cladding, daylighting systems, or commercial building envelopes.
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Procore, ConstructConnect, or Dodge Construction Network.
- Knowledge of commercial construction bidding processes.
