Cross-functional role focused on business analytics related to sales performance, sales planning, and variable pay management system utilization. Responsible for managing disputes, system efficiency, and future plan development.
Responsibilities
- Assists in administration of sales planning and variable pay management system(s), including system functionality, enhancements, plan builds, quota setting, and performance tracking/reporting.
- Manages system errors, efficiency, and disputes.
- Assists through variable pay management system implementation and future development.
- Participates in the sales planning process, including territory design, sales process improvement, and customer assignments.
- Collaborates with HR Compensation to analyze incentive plans for effectiveness and determine possible modifications.
- Ensures adequate documentation is available for all plans and processes.
- Creates and models plans to be developed in the system.
- Creates agile reporting that can be repeated periodically.
- Works with field teams on re-assignment of accounts to ensure proper alignment of sales resources with sales potential.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
- Prior experience in a sales operations or similar role.
- Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and streamlining processes.
- Expert ability to analyze data and organize it into useful information.
- Strong business acumen and ability to dig deeper from a business ask.
- Ability to adapt, adjust, and move with speed to execute on priorities.
- Strong time and project management skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with executive leadership in an open and professional manner.
- Variable pay management system experience: developing plans, reports, workflows, dispute management.
- Understanding in scoping projects and timeline to innovate functionality.
- Strong and professional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
Physical Demands
- Occasional travel may be required.
Licenses & Certifications
- Certification as Varicent v10 Technical Specialist preferred.
Pay
$74,148.48 - $101,908.80 (annual base pay). Total compensation may vary based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
