Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans, operating budget, financial and product analysis, and sales forecast/projections to achieve company objectives.
- Track policy deployment goals and prepares root cause analysis.
- Travel to meet with clients, maintain relationships, negotiate programs, prepare and deliver sales presentations at the branch and corporate levels.
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
- Partner with the product department in product research and developing new products.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports to prepare for strategic account reviews.
- Plan and implement strategic account business reviews.
- Field questions and resolve issues from customers.
- Travel to trade association meetings, trade shows, customer open houses and other meetings assigned.
Requirements
- Job requires approximately 70% travel.
- Follows all safety standards and works safely and health consciously at all times.
- Prepare quotes for customers, calculate discounts, interest, commission, and percentages.
- Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite a plus.
- Experience with CRM.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with National Accounts Required.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Working knowledge of database software, order processing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
