Sales - National Account Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans, operating budget, financial and product analysis, and sales forecast/projections to achieve company objectives.
  • Track policy deployment goals and prepares root cause analysis.
  • Travel to meet with clients, maintain relationships, negotiate programs, prepare and deliver sales presentations at the branch and corporate levels.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Partner with the product department in product research and developing new products.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports to prepare for strategic account reviews.
  • Plan and implement strategic account business reviews.
  • Field questions and resolve issues from customers.
  • Travel to trade association meetings, trade shows, customer open houses and other meetings assigned.

Requirements

  • Job requires approximately 70% travel.
  • Follows all safety standards and works safely and health consciously at all times.
  • Prepare quotes for customers, calculate discounts, interest, commission, and percentages.
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite a plus.
  • Experience with CRM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with National Accounts Required.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Working knowledge of database software, order processing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
