Sales & Marketing Intern
About the Role
The Grande Custom Ingredients Group is seeking a dynamic, current college student to fulfill our summer internship program in 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both sales and marketing while contributing to meaningful business initiatives. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, develop valuable analytical and creative skills, and gain exposure to real-world projects that support company growth.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business data and complete independent projects under the guidance of Sales and Marketing leadership, developing recommendations to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with team members to gather, organize, and structure data while building business models and conducting market research.
- Support both the CIG Sales and Marketing teams on a variety of U.S. and international initiatives and projects.
- Gain exposure to Business-to-Business (B2B) sales strategies and contribute to efforts that support sales growth and customer engagement.
- Prepare reports, summarize findings, and present project results and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Proofread and review marketing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
- Gather, validate, and organize content for sales tools, marketing resources, and customer-facing materials.
- Partner with marketing agencies and internal stakeholders to develop content, create concept materials, and support trade shows, marketing campaigns, and other promotional initiatives.
Requirements
- Student in Junior or Senior status pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Finance, or other related field requiring analytical skills.
- Experience in accurately working with and managing large numbers of files and data utilizing either a commercially available or proprietary software system.
- Broad experience in working with the full suite of Microsoft Office products, including advanced skills levels with Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated results completing self-directed analysis of information and development of conclusions and management recommendations is desired.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel with working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient math skills and common economic concepts in a sales or financial support setting.
