Sales & Marketing Intern

About the role

Soccer Shots is looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern who wants hands-on experience growing a real business while making an impact in the community. This hybrid role combines marketing, sales, community outreach, and on-field coaching.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Marketing Support marketing campaigns, social media, and promotional content.
• Engage with prospective customers and follow up on leads and inquiries.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities.
• Help develop community partnerships and participate in local events.
• Track campaign and lead-generation results and assist with reporting.
• Bring new ideas to the team and help turn them into action.
• Coach 5–12 soccer sessions per week and substitute as needed.
• Lead fun, structured, and engaging sessions for young children.
• Create a safe, positive, high-energy experience for children and families.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Energetic, organized, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Communicates confidently with customers, teammates, and community partners.
• Comfortable leading groups of young children.
• An interest in social media, digital marketing, and business growth.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.
• Reliable transportation and can commit to 20+ hours/week, including Saturdays.
• Previous sales, marketing, customer-service, or internship experience is a plus.
