The business is scaling rapidly, investing in people, processes, and customer experience to support continued growth across a franchise-based network.

About the role

The Sales / Partner Development Manager (individual contributor) drives revenue growth and strengthens the brand and long-term relationships with partnerships across the USA and Canada. The ideal candidate serves as a trusted partner, product expert, and sales leader, helping partners grow their businesses by providing product knowledge, sales training and coaching, and ongoing account support. This field-based sales role focuses on growing the client’s brands through direct engagement, training, and strategic account development. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven sales professional, product expert, and disciplined operator who thrives in a performance-driven environment and consistently exceeds sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management & Relationship Building
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners across assigned territories.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, ensuring partners receive exceptional service through product support, pricing on quotes, marketing materials, and timely communication.
    • Conduct regular sales evaluations of assigned accounts to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen partnerships.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to increase sales and expand brand awareness within existing accounts.
    • Expand share of wallet within existing accounts.
  • Sales Growth & Revenue Performance
    • Drive revenue growth by promoting the client’s brands, focusing on increasing sell-through within the partner network and assigned territory.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies that help partners grow their businesses while increasing product sales.
    • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Identify new sales opportunities through partner and customer feedback, including new product introductions, program expansion, and additional sales techniques.
    • Maintain discipline in communication and feedback.
  • Product Knowledge & Expertise
    • Serve as a product expert on the client’s collections, features, materials, and customization options.
    • Educate sales teams on product benefits, competitive advantages, and market positioning.
    • Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and differentiators.
    • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive products, and consumer preferences.
  • Training & Sales Enablement
    • Deliver product and sales training for partner teams across assigned territories.
    • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions covering product features, selling techniques, and best practices to increase close rates.
    • Support partners in improving sales presentations and product demonstrations.
    • Assist partners in effectively positioning products to residential and commercial customers.
  • Channel Support
    • Collaborate with marketing to ensure partners have access to the right sales tools, product samples, displays, and marketing materials.
    • Provide guidance on product displays and toolkits that maximize sales potential.
    • Support partner participation in promotions, sales programs, and marketing initiatives.
    • Work with internal teams to improve overall partner experience and performance.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights
    • Gather feedback from partners regarding product performance, market trends, and competitive activity.
    • Provide insights to internal teams to improve product offerings, marketing programs, and sales strategies.
    • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Field Engagement, Travel & Sales Discipline
    • Operate as a field-based representative, spending the majority of time in-market with customers.
    • Travel 25–50%+ across assigned territories for partner visits, training, ride-alongs, and events.
    • Maintain strong sales discipline, including:
      • Weekly tracking of sales performance and account activity
      • Pipeline management and opportunity tracking
      • Regular territory planning and prioritization
    • Provide consistent weekly reporting on:
      • Sales results vs. goals
      • Key account updates
      • Growth opportunities and action plans
    • Maintain clear, proactive communication with leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities.
