Responsibilities
- Conduct sales activities with existing customers and prospect accounts to maintain relationships and increase sales.
- Actively identify and develop prospects and targets, prioritize opportunities and develop strategic supply proposals to gain incremental business.
- Collect market intelligence and customer decision criteria to recommend effective sales proposals.
- Skillfully present compelling supply package presentations, resulting in awarded business.
- Develop annual sales budget and strategy and execute the plan accordingly.
- Review sales progress regularly against goals and re-align efforts if necessary to ensure targets are being successfully achieved.
- Become proficient with the Fantapak product bundle.
- Interact and coordinate with other functional departments in order to provide customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Coincide with marketing personnel to develop sales promotion plans for target products.
- Attend sales trade shows and customer events to promote products and develop business opportunities.
- Cook up the hiring and training of Brokers as necessary.
- Handle special projects assigned by the business unit.
- Through self-motivation provide leadership for successful day-to-day sales operations.
- Manage customer communication, sales execution, training and direction of commissioned brokers.
- Make sales calls on existing customers and potential buyers of Fantapak product lines and influence the procurement process in order to grow sales.
- Sell products employing a consultative and problem-solving approach.
- Use industry contacts and/or knowledge to broaden Fantapak selling and growth potential.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales and business development experience in retail supplies packaging with a proven track record of positive customer relationships and sales.
- College or university degree in business or related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Able to travel/drive with a valid driver’s license.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
