About the role

Shipwreck Harley-Davidson is seeking a Sales Manager to inspire team members, assist customers, and grow the business with integrity. This is a professional-level sales and management position.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall sales goals and service objectives
• Develop and maintain professional customer relationships and program growth
• Select, hire, develop, perform management, coach, schedule, and engage sales team members
• Ensure execution of all inventory and operational standards
• Coach all sales team members to deliver on customer expectations
• Manage on-duty responsibilities
• Lead change management
• Embrace diversity and foster a respectful environment for both customers and team members

Requirements

• Necessary for success as a General Sales Manager: working knowledge of motorcycle systems preferred, use Microsoft software effectively, calculate figures and amounts, review and analyze business reports, hold others accountable, inspect work quality and give feedback, work various days, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Experience that sets a General Sales Manager up for success: 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 5-8 team members in a fast-paced and highly dynamic retail environment, successful experience managing profitability, proven financial and business acumen

Qualifications

• Necessary qualifications: high school diploma or GED, bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement
