Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly revenue goals and conversion ratios.
- Develop and train sales staff in various skills such as prospecting, public speaking, closing, product knowledge, and electronic contracts.
- Provide customer service guidance and shadow Sales Director and Sales Managers in business meetings.
- Utilize CRM systems to identify and assign warm leads and collaborate with marketing and sales management teams on campaign development.
- Create and communicate expectations to the sales team, build their skills, and ensure compliance with company processes and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement annual sales plans for each sales associate, focusing on goal attainment and efficiency improvements.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve sales processes and maintain effectiveness during organizational changes.
- Support change initiatives and adjust to new work structures, processes, and environments.
- Screen candidates, hire or promote skilled staff, and train them on processes, procedures, and controls.
- Assess staff’s abilities and recommend pay increases and career advancements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, with an Associates degree in a related discipline preferred.
- At least four (4) years’ sales experience in outside or inside direct sales to consumers, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals and conversion ratios.
- Proficient in using CRM databases and Salesforce.com, and experience with electronic sales contracts.
- Experience in the Funeral Services industry is a plus.

- MS Office Suite skills.
Benefits
Actual compensation will vary based on individual performance, geographic location, and applicable business conditions. The estimated total target compensation for this position in the first year typically ranges from $50,000 to $100,000 annually based on a strong commission-based incentive structure. In subsequent years, sales professionals commonly earn $100,000 to $150,000 or more annually.
