Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Captures new business and meets sales targets.
  • Communicates with internal teams about market conditions, product performance, pricing, and other issues.
  • Responds to competitive and market opportunities, and communicates with distributors, dealers, OEMs, end users, and the factory.
  • Develops and implements an annual sales plan.
  • Coordinates participation in trade shows with non-sales staff as needed.
  • Maintains quarterly market coverage documentation.
  • Processes annual distributor agreements and manages the distributor network.
  • Contributes to the company's financial success through cost control.
  • Facilitates information exchange between the factory, sales representatives, and accounts.
  • Monitors and controls quotations to ensure acceptable margins.
  • Forecasts sales data and coordinates production schedules.
  • Maintains administrative responsibilities to meet deadlines.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing) preferred.
  • Five (5) years' experience in Automotive, Fleet, or Law Enforcement sales required.
  • In lieu of sales experience, ten (10) years' experience in the Automotive, Fleet, or Law Enforcement industry is acceptable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Working knowledge of word processing, database, and spreadsheet software.
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.
