Sales Manager - Brookside Shops
About the role
Warby Parker is seeking a service-oriented Sales Manager to support a team of exceptional Retail Advisors in creating the best possible glasses-shopping experiences. As a Sales Manager, you'll engage with customers, contribute to process ideation and improvement, and participate in various special projects. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact the success of our company while learning from talented business and Retail leaders.
Responsibilities
- Communicate Warby Parker's values and brand philosophy to customers
- Troubleshoot the point-of-sale system
- Oversee the store's inventory management procedures
- Develop new processes to improve customer service and optimize shopping experiences
- Manage and implement daily zoning schedules
- Open and close the store
- Lead shift-start, shift-end, roundtable, and other meetings
- Direct a team of 8–10 team members, demonstrating exceptional service
- Assist with biannual performance reviews alongside the Store Leader and Associate Store Leader
- Support new hire onboarding and ongoing training
- Foster an inclusive, service-minded work culture that treats all customers with respect
Requirements
- 1+ year in a retail management position
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Managerial experience in sales or operations at a complex, customer-focused retailer
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Eagerness to learn new skills
- Upbeat, empathetic, and collaborative team player
- Drive to perform at a high level and help teammates reach their targets
- Ability to bring positive energy to the workplace, even during long hours
- Not on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

Pay
Warby Parker offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive base salary/hourly rate and variable compensation for eligible employees. The range listed is a good-faith estimate at the time of posting, with final compensation determined by qualifications, experience, internal equity, and relevant market data. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay if required to work more than 40 hours in a workweek.
