Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve budgeted sales goals through sales calls and lead cultivation.
- Communicate with departments regarding group arrivals and needs.
- Network with community organizations.
- Aid in the creation of the sales budget and marketing plan.
- Submit reports and special projects on time.
- Handle guest complaints using Guest Service Recovery method.
- Maintain account files and stay updated on competitive offerings.
- Schedule tours and client presentations.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and marketing.
- Weekend/holiday availability; travel required.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Two or more years of experience in a similar role preferred.
Job Environment
- Primarily indoors; some outside travel.
- Significant walking and standing.
- Some light lifting.
- Infrequent bending or stooping.
