Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve budgeted sales goals through sales calls and lead cultivation.
  • Communicate with departments regarding group arrivals and needs.
  • Network with community organizations.
  • Aid in the creation of the sales budget and marketing plan.
  • Submit reports and special projects on time.
  • Handle guest complaints using Guest Service Recovery method.
  • Maintain account files and stay updated on competitive offerings.
  • Schedule tours and client presentations.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area.

Qualifications

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and marketing.
  • Weekend/holiday availability; travel required.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
  • Two or more years of experience in a similar role preferred.

Job Environment

  • Primarily indoors; some outside travel.
  • Significant walking and standing.
  • Some light lifting.
  • Infrequent bending or stooping.
