What You'll Do
- Develop, negotiate, and secure new and repeat business from corporate, group, and volume accounts that align with the resort's revenue strategy.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with local, regional, and national accounts while actively prospecting for new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present compelling corporate rate proposals and contracts that maximize revenue and profitability.
- Respond to RFPs with creative, competitive solutions that deliver value for both the client and the resort.
- Execute strategic sales plans that achieve or exceed revenue goals across transient, group, and negotiated business segments.
- Conduct outside sales calls, networking events, property tours, and site inspections to showcase the resort experience.
- Represent the resort at industry trade shows, association meetings, sales missions, and community events throughout Arizona and key feeder markets.
- Partner closely with Revenue Management and Operations to ensure contracted business aligns with occupancy goals, business mix, and guest expectations.
- Maintain detailed client activity, account plans, and sales pipelines within the CRM system.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within Arizona's resort and hospitality landscape.
- Build meaningful relationships with tourism organizations, chambers of commerce, CVBs, event planners, and community partners to strengthen the resort's market presence.

Preferred Experience
- Two or more years of hotel or resort sales experience, with preference given to candidates from destination resorts or full-service hotels.
- Experience selling corporate, group, SMERF, leisure, or negotiated business within the Arizona hospitality market.
- Established relationships with Arizona businesses, meeting planners, travel professionals, or industry organizations are highly valued.
- Proven success in business development, account management, prospecting, and contract negotiations.
- Experience with CRM platforms and hotel sales systems preferred.
Education
- Associate's degree in Business, Hospitality, Sales & Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and hospitality sales experience will be considered.
