SALES MANAGER

As a Sales Manager, you will provide the support Sales Counselors need to maximize their potential and reach or exceed sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service. This role focuses on developing the sales team by leveraging their strengths and honing their skills to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the organization's profitability by hiring, training, and developing Sales Counselors to generate and maximize new home sales in key locations.
- Assist Sales Counselors in generating and maximizing new home sales while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage Sales Counselors’ marketing plans, traffic-generating activities, and suggest strategies for improvement.
- Provide continued education and training to Sales Counselors.
- Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly and annual basis.
Requirements
- New Home Sales and leadership experience, required.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Psychology.
- Ability to travel or relocate to new or growing markets is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and walk on various types of terrain, including uneven surfaces, construction sites, and residential properties that may have mud, ruts, etc.
- Must be able to utilize sensory skills (e.g., verbal communication) and technology (e.g., cellphone) to effectively communicate with other Associates and customers.
- Must be able to perform movements such as bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and grasping.
- Must have the ability to climb permanent stairs, temporary stairs, and ladders.
- Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift approximately 50 lbs. unassisted throughout the workday.
- Must be able to endure and be exposed to different types of conditions, including weather (heat, cold, rain, ice, etc.) and substances such as dust, dirt, and fumes.
- Must be able to properly use and wear protective gear provided, including but not limited to hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
