Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Develop the Sales Team
- Directly manage, coach, and develop StyleCraft's New Home Sales Consultants.
- Establish clear expectations for sales performance, activity, follow-up, and customer experience.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, field coaching, and performance reviews.
- Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency, and continuous improvement.
Drive Sales Performance
- Lead the day-to-day execution of StyleCraft's sales plan.
- Monitor sales pace, traffic, leads, appointments, contracts, cancellations, and closings.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion and sales performance.
- Hold Sales Professionals accountable for achieving established goals.
- Provide sales forecasts, performance updates, and recommendations to the General Manager.
Oversee the New Home Sales Process
- Ensure consistent execution of StyleCraft's sales process from initial lead through contract and closing.
- Coach Sales Professionals on presentations, follow-up, negotiation, objection handling, and closing.
- Help ensure pricing, incentives, inventory, and product information are properly communicated and executed.
Lead From the Field
- Maintain a strong presence in StyleCraft's communities and sales centers.
- Evaluate the customer experience and ensure our communities and model homes are professionally presented.
- Understand competitive activity, pricing, incentives, inventory, and market conditions.
- Ensure Sales Professionals are equipped to effectively sell each community and product.
Collaborate Across the Company
- Partner closely with Construction, Marketing, Purchasing, Design, Finance, Operations, and Customer Care.
- Help ensure a seamless transition from sales through construction and closing.
- Communicate market trends, customer feedback, and sales opportunities to company leadership.
- Participate in sales strategy, forecasting, and business planning.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably in residential homebuilding or a related industry.
- Previous experience managing, coaching, or leading a sales team.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales goals and improving team performance.
- Strong understanding of the new home sales process.
- Excellent communication, coaching, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand and use sales data to drive decisions.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and accountability.
- Comfortable working in the field and managing multiple communities and priorities.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
