About the role
Own and monitor the customer sales plan for Components & Accessories including MRO, LRU & Accessories, and strategy for subject customers. Manage the optimum sales and support process to ensure CRS goals are achieved within your territory.
Responsibilities
- In conjunction with Marketing and Sales leadership, determine sales territory strategy and qualify potential prospects to increase revenue for CRS.
- Coordinate closely with program management to serve as the “face to the customer” for both program and non-program customers, ensuring individual customer profitability to achieve optimum sales volumes and profits.
- Conduct sales calls and visits, provide product support, and perform other sales and marketing functions as needed.
- Coordinate sales efforts with the Components & Accessories sector team(s) and relevant Business Unit personnel.
- Establish, maintain, and develop business relationships with customers and potential customers to optimize customer base profit.
- Engage with customers and take the lead in resolving accounts receivable issues.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with approved intermediaries of the company if required.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and provide proposals or options for service and/or sales to meet customers’ needs.
- Expedite and engage in the resolution of customer problems or complaints.
- Maintain customer management databases.
- Attend industry trade shows, sales meetings, marketing workshops, and other special events as required.
- Provide management with timely oral and written reports on customer needs, concerns, interests, market situation, competitive activities, and potential for new products and/or services.
- Complete administrative duties within established time guidelines (e.g., IOIs, responses to customer inquiries).
- Contribute to the development of strategic business plans, marketing initiatives, and the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, quotes, and other projections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering technology; or equivalent.
- 10 or more years of sales experience in an aerospace or aviation environment.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Skills
- Self-motivated, self-starter with strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office product suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Experience in aircraft engine systems, repair and maintenance workflows, and alignment with diverse customer specifications and operational needs.
