About the role

Reports to: Director of Operations
Compensation: $40K Base Pay + Commission Structure
Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Schedule

What You'll Do

  • Drive sales and grow the business
  • Sell and coordinate birthday parties, school trips, corporate events, team-building events, and other group experiences
  • Develop new business relationships within the Lubbock community and surrounding areas
  • Respond to leads, conduct follow-ups, close sales, and build long-term client relationships
  • Consistently work toward and exceed sales goals
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through new clients, repeat business, referrals, and community partnerships

Manage the Sales Process

  • Manage group bookings from initial inquiry through event completion
  • Serve as the primary contact for group clients
  • Follow up with prospects and customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, proposals, bookings, and sales
  • Track sales activity, revenue, conversion rates, and overall performance
  • Develop strategies to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings

Upsell & Maximize Revenue

  • Upsell packages, food, attractions, games, and other revenue opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to increase the value of each group booking
  • Educate customers on available packages and help them create the best experience for their group
  • Train and encourage staff to recognize and take advantage of appropriate sales opportunities

Guest Experience

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for group clients
  • Ensure exceptional service before, during, and after each event
  • Aid in on-site group events and resolve issues quickly and professionally
  • Turn challenges into opportunities to create a positive guest experience
  • Build relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals

Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise and support internal revenue departments, including Group Sales, Guest Services, Café, and other applicable operations
  • Train staff on customer service, sales opportunities, promotions, and revenue goals
  • Coach employees on how to confidently communicate with guests and identify opportunities to upsell
  • Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance
  • Work collaboratively with park leadership and department managers

Communication & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with park leadership and departments to ensure successful group experiences
  • Communicate group needs and event details clearly to operational teams
  • Participate in sales meetings, leadership meetings, and business development initiatives
  • Help develop promotions and strategies designed to increase group and overall park revenue

  • Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills
  • Previous sales, hospitality, event, or management experience preferred
  • Comfortable working with sales goals, metrics, and performance expectations
  • Flexible schedule, including some weekends and peak event days
