About the role
This role is dedicated to delivering exceptional Guest Services as part of our Sales & Catering TEAM, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's sales function.
Responsibilities
- Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
- Drive group sales by proactively seeking new business opportunities and responding promptly to inquiries
- Lead and manage the efficient sale of guest room nights and room rentals within the Sales & Catering Division
- Conduct site inspections with potential and existing clients, showcasing our exceptional offering
- Cook up seamless account servicing by coordinating with relevant departments
- Build and nurture strong relationships with the local Chamber of Commerce, civic groups, and businesses
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or its equivalent
- Experience: Two years Hospitality Sales and/or Convention Service experience preferred, Previous Sales experience required
- Confident utilizing MS outlook, Word, and Excel
- Previous experience with hotel PMS systems (such as OnQue or PEP) a plus
Qualifications
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to exercise judgement in evaluating situations and making sound decisions
