- Maintain deep product knowledge of all RSS/TF offerings and sell directly to customers while leveraging external sales resources (e.g., brokers).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and ensure accurate regional forecasting through CRM data capture.
- Keep customer profiles and call notes current in the sales CRM tool.
- Use company reports to review sales-to-goal, account progress, and pipeline; prepare for monthly leadership discussions.
- Request and track resources for new products, custom opportunities, or market tests with measurable metrics in the CRM.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that identify growth initiatives and measurable objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Marketing, and other internal teams.
- Provide management with updates on customer needs, competitive activities, and new-product potential.
- Conduct Voice-of-Customer interviews to gather market intelligence, identify trends, and relay feedback to Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Leadership.
- Stay current on best practices, promotional trends, and continuously improve through feedback.
Requirements
- BS/BA undergraduate degree from an accredited university; MBA preferred.
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience with grocery and mass-merchandiser accounts.
