Sales Manager

About the role

R.S. Hughes Company, Inc. is a dynamic, North American distributor of industrial supplies. We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead our Sales Team and help spearhead our growth for the Detroit market.

Responsibilities

• Play a critical and active role in the day-to-day operations of the Sales Team
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
• Provide complete and appropriate solutions to boost revenue growth and profitability
• Design and implement strategic business plans
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives

Requirements

• Proven track record as a sales professional demonstrating the ability to achieve sales targets and exhibit our core values
• Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (Preferred)
• 3+ years of sales experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 2+ years of managerial experience

• Proven work experience as a Sales Manager
• Highly motivated, flexible, and service-oriented
• Familiar with CRM practices, along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
• Goal-oriented, driven, and experienced in networking with and influencing decision-makers
• Excellent selling, interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
• Experience in opening doors to new opportunities
• Fast learner and passionate for sales
• Advanced English level

Benefits

• $65,000-$75,000 annually DOE
