Sales Manager

About the role

P.J. Fitzpatrick, the leading home improvement company in the Delaware Valley, is seeking an experienced and results‑driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team. You will play a key role in driving sales initiatives, mentoring outside sales representatives, and achieving growth objectives while upholding our tradition of excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of outside sales representatives, providing training and development to enhance performance and achieve sales targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
• Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring top‑notch service and support throughout the sales process.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a sales manager in the home improvement or construction industry.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with CRM software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team to reach their goals.
• Must reside in the Northern Virginia area.

Pay

Salary plus monthly commissions, with performance bonuses.

Schedule

Based in the Charleston, SC office, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with additional availability by phone on weeknights and Saturdays.
