Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and meeting planners.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue leads to increase hotel occupancy.
• Collaborate with the Area DOS to help create promotional campaigns and sales materials.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
• Represent Residence Inn by Marriott Milpitas at industry events and networking functions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required.

The Residence Inn Milpitas by Marriott Silicon Valley (a Pacific Hotel Management Hotel), functions 7 days a week, 24 hours a week. All associates must acknowledge and understand this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move an associate from their accustomed shift as business dictates.
