Accountabilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within target markets, including data centers, utilities, industrial manufacturing, healthcare, telecommunications, and other mission-critical industries.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with end users, engineering firms, engine manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Conduct customer meetings to understand project requirements and recommend Modular solutions that meet technical and commercial objectives.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with engineering, estimating, project management, operations, and inside sales teams to develop winning customer solutions.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities using the company's CRM system.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and project scope while maintaining company profitability goals.
- Support project handoff to operations and remain engaged throughout execution to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive activity, and market conditions.
- Represent Mission Critical Group at industry conferences, customer events, networking opportunities, and trade shows.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers, partners, and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of outside sales experience selling engineered products, industrial equipment, electrical infrastructure, modular construction, power generation, or related technical solutions.
- Proven success developing new business and growing strategic customer accounts.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling methodologies.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar systems.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications is preferred.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30-50% within the assigned territory.
