Sales Manager
About the role
Meta Power Solutions is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Medium Voltage Transformers, Low Voltage Switchboards, Medium Voltage Switchgear, and Mobile & Containerized Substations. Our innovative solutions serve a wide range of industries, including utilities, renewable energy, Electric Vehicle charging stations, and various industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a sales team of 7 local and 4 offshore sales persons to exceed targets and achieve exceptional results.
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets, expand existing customer relationships, and maximize revenue opportunities.
- KPI Tracking: Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and optimize sales team performance and effectiveness.
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities in utilities, renewable energy, Electric Vehicle charging stations, and other industrial sectors.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between sales, production, and customer support.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and guide a sales team to success.
- Experience in tracking and improving sales KPIs and metrics.
- Electrical industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated individual with a drive to succeed.
