Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed store goals.
• Driving store performance through coaching in the moment and leading by example on the showroom floor.
• Creating a culture focused on exceptional customer experiences, accountability, and results.
• Training, and developing talent to build a strong and engaged team.
• Ensuring operational excellence, including merchandising standards, inventory management, and overall showroom presentation.
• Partnering with leadership to execute business strategies and drive continued store growth.

Requirements

• A proven retail leader with a track record of driving sales and developing successful teams.
• A hands-on leader who enjoys being on the sales floor, coaching associates, and delivering results.
• Passionate about modern aesthetics, home furnishings, and providing an elevated customer experience.
• Results-oriented, highly motivated, and energized by coaching others to succeed.
• Experienced in retail sales leadership; experience in luxury retail or home furnishings is a major plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED Equivalent.
• Experience: 1-3 years in a business unit with a retail sales emphasis.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, financial understanding, adept interpersonal communication, analytical abilities, goal orientation, team management, and customer service.
• Other: Ability to work the schedule and hours dictated by business needs, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

• Base Pay: $10,400 per year.
• Commission & Bonus: Earn more with UNCAPPED commission on written sales – 6% on La-Z-Boy Design Sales and 4% on other sales, other than La-Z-Boy Design Sales. Monthly bonus opportunity up to $1,500 based on achievement of store sales goals.

Schedule

Nearly continuous use of repetitive hand motions, hearing and listening. Often required to sit, walk, bend and stoop. Subject to inside environmental conditions.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Ability to pass background and drug screen.
