Responsibilities
- Leads Sales Representatives closely with the Regional VP of Sales within Philadelphia and the surrounding region.
- Organize and direct training of new Sales Reps including, but not limited to:
- Enter orders, build quotes, look up pricing, search for ETAs and thoroughly understand the company’s existing tool set.
- Maintain and grow existing relationships / accounts.
- Pursue leads and obtain new business.
- Infuse classical sales training techniques with routine refresher sessions.
- Understand and utilize SOPs needed to excel as a Sales Rep - cross functional processes impacting Sales, Operations, Transportation, and Accounting.
- Learn the company’s suite of solutions, from ordering to data analytics tools.
- Manage an established book of Key Accounts.
- Solicit Restaurant groups outside the existing clientele base.
- Liaison with everyone on your team daily and provide hands on mentorship, enabling independently successful Sales Representatives.
- Meet 1:1 with each rep routinely, visiting existing and prospect accounts and reviewing their portfolio’s performance.
- Manage the team with data by benchmarking performance and building out attainable growth and profitability expectations.
- Uphold JSI’s standard for best-in-class customer service and nimble competitiveness.
- Build and maintain pricing contracts.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5+ years of sales or sales supervisor/manager experience within food service or food distribution.
- Self-starter, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate across departments.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite of solutions.
- Proficient in, and open minded when, learning new technologies.
- Proven ability to lead by example and motivate teams.
- Experience with pricing contracts.
Qualifications
