Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Partner with the President/GM to develop and execute commercial strategies that drive divisional results.
- Drive sales growth and profitability by expanding key accounts while opening new customers and markets.
- Use data, tools, and reporting to identify opportunities and drive smarter, faster decisions.
- Lead, develop, and engage Sales, Design, and Customer Service teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance accountability.
- Establish sales goals, metrics, budgets, and forecasts; ensure follow-through and results.
- Improve margins through disciplined pricing strategy, negotiations, and cross-functional alignment.
- Facilitate sales meetings and represent the organization at customer events (including occasional evenings/weekends).
- Maintain strong knowledge of GBP corrugated product offerings and competitive solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive success in direct sales, including significant experience opening new accounts.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams across multiple functions while balancing competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong coaching, development, and motivational skills.
- Strong commercial background with solid business acumen and financial understanding.
- Knowledge of the corrugated or packaging industry strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A clean driving record.
Pay
$120,000 - $160,000/year
