Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Sales Manager oversees all aspects of the sales and coordination team to ensure client satisfaction through efficient, professional, and personal support. Responsibilities include budgetary success, team member leadership, recruitment, program design, fiscal responsibility, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate functions as described in all levels of sales and coordination job descriptions
• Lead, develop, and coach team members
• Engage and support team development
• Drive recruitment and selection of sales and coordination team members
• Contribute to program and project design and implementation
• Ensure fiscal responsibility by managing gross margin, minimizing returns, and coordinating processes
• Ensure team members are knowledgeable about manufacturing programs, rebates, and special offers
• Motivate team members to meet sales goals and other metrics
• Monitor, track, and report on team productivity, performance, and quality
• Identify staff strengths and weaknesses for training and development
• Hold team members accountable for deficiencies in a timely manner
• Ensure high customer service standards and exceed customer expectations
• Facilitate ongoing product training opportunities
• Develop and provide timely analytical reports to identify sales trends and make process improvement recommendations
• Ensure team members are current on procedures, policies, and guidelines through training and communication
• Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in sales or related field
• Leadership experience
• Customer-centric and internet savvy
• Strong MS Office skills
• Experience in handling difficult/clientele situations
• Ability to manage projects
• Professionalism and ethics
• Positive attitude
• Teamwork and flexibility
• Time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
