About the role
The Company produces premium conferences and online learning programs for senior practitioners at large enterprises. They are currently bootstrapped and profitable, operating internationally with a focus on Fortune 1000 companies.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to design and implement a repeatable sales process to successfully sell annual subscription-based seat packages for their international conferences and online learning products to Fortune 1000 companies.
- Design the playbook for selling group ticket packages and annual subscriptions to Fortune 1000 accounts.
- Advise leadership on sales strategy, pricing, and how to sequence the sales motion.
- Participate in pipeline reviews and deal strategy sessions, offering guidance on high-value opportunities.
- Define target accounts, deal sizes, and forecasting assumptions.
- Help the team hire and onboard up to two full-time sales reps this year to support this initiative, while also providing part-time mentorship and guidance to the new enterprise sales team.
- Work with marketing, business development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment across the customer journey.
- Occasionally attend virtual client or prospect meetings to model best practices and accelerate team development.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience selling to Fortune 1000 clients in the USA.
- 3+ years selling SaaS software, enterprise software, software services or other subscription and seat-based products.
- 3+ years in a sales leadership role (managing a sales team with direct reports).
- Led Sales for other corporate learning or corporate LMS companies such as O'Reilly, Pluralsight, Udemy Business, LinkedIn Learning, Coursera Business, Skillsoft, Cornerstone, Docebo, Degreed, Litmos, SAP, SuccessFactors, D2L, Udacity, CompTIA.
Qualifications
- Based in the USA (except California) or Canada only.
- Nice-to-have: Sold to technical buyers, e.g. CTOs; Sold conference tickets or sponsorships before.
Skills
- Strong understanding of the corporate learning and LMS market.
- Experience in designing and implementing sales processes for complex B2B products.
- Ability to lead and mentor a sales team.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
