About the Role
FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. As a Sales Manager, you will be in a hybrid role managing a team of sales reps while developing and maintaining your own account base. You will be responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization. You will establish sales targets, develop strategic plans, analyze performance metrics, and ensure consistent execution of company policies to meet or exceed quotas.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of sales reps and develop your own account base.
- Establish sales targets, develop strategic plans, and analyze performance metrics.
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies to meet or exceed quotas.
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor sales staff, providing coaching to improve performance.
- Create and implement sales strategies, quotas, and goals to expand the customer base in the assigned district.
- Lead and develop Sales teams, vendor engagement, and cross-functional activities.
- Demonstrate technical capacity and mechanical aptitude.
- Provide a proven track record in the flow control industry: pumps, instrumentation, and a solid working knowledge of valves and valve automation.
- Exhibit business acumen and a strategic approach.
Requirements
- Strong leadership, negotiation skills, and a results-driven mindset.
- Proven experience as a field sales representative.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
- Experience in Outside Sales/Account Manager/Territory Manager role within the industrial or flow control marketplace required.
- Background in Sales Management role preferred; demonstrated ability to manage diverse sales teams.
- Background in P & L is helpful.
