About the role
DXP is dedicated to providing the highest quality of customer service through expertise in industrial products and technical services. As a Sales Manager, you will develop and execute business plans covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, ensuring the team meets planned sales goals. You will set individual sales targets, track performance, and oversee the activities of the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Achieve high-quality sales through product expertise and continuous improvement of sales skills.
- Directly supervise Outside Sales personnel.
- Develop senior management relationships with customers in assigned territories.
- Promote sales growth and manage key accounts, focusing on growth and margins.
- Manage the regional territory through account-level analysis.
- Develop and maintain a preferred vendor list.
- Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track process-level performance.
- Annual budgeting with a focus on growing profitability.
- Set achievable and sustainable goals.
- Instigate new improvement actions to capture market opportunities.
- Support regional objectives with guidance to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
- Responsible for recruiting, retention, and administrative duties related to employee relations while adhering to company policies.
Requirements
- 15-20 years of pump experience working with rotating equipment/pumps.
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Experience managing and directing a sales team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to providing great customer service.
- Proven ability to lead a sales team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Working Conditions
- Remote/Professional Office Environment.
- Travel required.
- Shift Time/Overtime: Monday-Friday.
Pay
$150K - $200k
