Sales Manager
About the role
This role involves managing a team of sales representatives who sell Canon's hardware and software technology-based solutions to companies within a territory and/or an assigned account list. The role requires living within a reasonable commuting distance to Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
- Manages a team of sales representatives
- Trains, develops, and coaches current and new sales representatives
- Achieves 100% of quota through management of a team
- Sets clear goals and allows deadlines to be met in a timely manner
- Interviews, conducts performance reviews, monthly plans and reviews, submits accurate forecasts, and rides with representatives
- Maintains proficiency in product and promotional knowledge
- Maintains and manages all assigned company assets (i.e., cellphone, laptop, promo book, etc.)
- Completes all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required, plus 7 years of related experience and management of typically two or more regular full-time employees (one of whom must be exempt).
Progressive responsibility in sales, industry and marketing experience.
Extensive knowledge of Canon products and competitors.
Qualifications
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Benefits
The role is eligible for incentive compensation under the terms of an applicable plan and/or policy. Incentive compensation earnings vary by quota assigned, at 100% of plan, the anticipated incentive compensation for this role is $95,700 annually.
The role is also eligible for a transportation allowance.
Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $61,800 - $92,520 annually.
Schedule
This role offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to report to your local office as directed by management, and to be available to customers in-person or remotely (as dictated by customer needs), and provides the option to work from home on other business days (except to the extent business needs dictate otherwise).
