Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Build strong relationships with customers by delivering outstanding service and earning long-term trust.
- Coach sales consultants throughout the sales process and assist with closing opportunities.
- Conduct ongoing sales training to develop product knowledge, sales skills, and professional growth.
- Establish clear performance expectations and create a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Motivate the team through positive leadership, recognition, and performance coaching.
- Maintain a strong presence in day-to-day dealership operations to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Lead negotiations while ensuring customers clearly understand pricing, financing, and vehicle purchase options.
- Partner with the General Manager to strategically manage new and pre-owned vehicle inventory.
- Help oversee departmental expenses and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Analyze key performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective action plans.
- Champion a customer-first culture that reflects the values and reputation of C. A. Russell Ford.
Requirements
- Previous automotive dealership management experience preferred.
- Proven success in automotive retail sales and leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Passion for leadership, employee development, and continuous improvement.
- Positive, energetic attitude with the ability to motivate others in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using dealership technology and CRM systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
