Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Assist Sales Team in achieving or exceeding sales budgeted goals.
- Responsible for day-to-day leadership of the sales team and all decisions and actions of personnel under his/her supervision.
- Set clear direction, guide the team towards common goals and company objectives.
- Utilize current methods and tools to develop sales team on personal and professional basis (i.e., Sales Playback, Sales Bootcamp training, Salesforce, etc.).
- Ensure business activity and development is managed through company required software programs.
- Build rapport and relationships with key customers.
- Embrace innovation and encourage their team to think creatively and adapt to new challenges.
- Be actively involved in community and business organizations.
- Establish objectives for sales team on promotions and major new products.
- Aid in planning special events such as trade shows, banquets, and seminars.
- Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in related sales or related experience, or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Background in foodservice or janitorial supplies is a plus.
- High School Diploma required, college degree in sales/marketing or business preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
