Sales and Management Intern

This position is integral to our mission of providing the best shopping experience for our Guests. Interns assist in various aspects of the store, including sales, merchandising, and operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with friendly service and assist with their needs
• Recommend and assist with selecting and fitting merchandise
• Manage cash registers and ensure accurate transactions
• Participate in visual merchandising and product handling
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and report any issues to management
• Complete required training and take ownership of assigned tasks

Internship Duties

• Complete Teammate Orientation, Leadership, and Recruitment sections of the Buckle Management Manual
• Develop recruiting, merchandising, and leadership skills
• Lead and motivate a team, using Performance Tracker tools
• Develop an understanding of Buckle’s products and sales processes
• Contribute to the fulfillment of Buckle’s mission statement through exceptional customer service

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The intern must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear. They should also have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The work environment includes a retail store setting with moderate noise levels.
