About the role
The Sales & Leasing Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at Timber Ford of Hayward in Hayward, WI. This role is responsible for greeting customers, assessing their vehicle needs, and guiding them through the sales and leasing process for new and pre-owned vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their vehicle needs
- Present vehicle features and benefits
- Conduct test drives
- Prepare price quotes and lease options
- Collaborate with the finance team to complete necessary paperwork
- Maintain product knowledge on current inventory and manufacturer offerings
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers
- Support dealership sales campaigns and promotions
- Accurately update customer records
- Adhere to dealership policies and compliance requirements
- Contribute to a positive, professional showroom environment
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen, ask questions, and address customer needs respectfully
- Educational background: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in sales, business, or a related field is beneficial
- Basic financial and analytical skills to explain pricing, lease terms, and financing options, and to complete accurate sales documentation
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate records in dealership systems
- Comfort with technology or willingness to learn, including dealership inventory systems, and standard office software
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and ability to conduct customer test drives safely and responsibly
