Sales Leadership Development Internship Program – Summer 2027
About the role
Embark on a 12-week Leadership Development Internship Program where you'll contribute to meaningful work, build lasting connections, and grow both personally and professionally. Through hands-on projects, mentorship, networking opportunities, and intern-focused programming, you'll gain valuable experience and develop skills to prepare you for the next step in your career.
Each intern will be assigned to a real-world, strategic business project that directly supports Pentair’s mission of a more sustainable future. At the end of the program, you will present your project objectives, processes, and results to leadership.
As part of a professional cohort, you’ll participate in development experiences including mentorship, networking, executive speaker sessions, a team case competition, and Pentair’s signature Intern Summit.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a strategic business project that drives real impact within Pentair.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals and fellow interns on meaningful work.
- Present project outcomes and results to Pentair leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
- Engage in professional development, social, volunteer, and cohort activities.
- Participate in a team case competition and attend Pentair’s Intern Summit.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business (Sales, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Management) or a related field from an accredited university.
- Enrolled as a junior undergraduate (preferred graduation date: Spring 2028).
- Strong interest in pursuing Pentair’s full-time Sales Leadership Development Program upon graduation.
- Willingness to relocate and work in locations throughout the United States during the program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay
This position pays an hourly rate of $28.00 per hour.
Schedule
- 12-week internship program with two start date options:
- Session 1: Late May – Early August 2027
- Session 2: Early June – Mid-August 2027
- Approximately 40 hours per week.
