Sales Lead - Silverado Store - Las Vegas Nevada

The Salvation Army (TSA), Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARC) offers a no-fee program to assist men and women in completing drug/alcohol rehabilitation. Employees contribute to the program's maintenance and effectiveness, fostering a sense of purpose and opportunity.

Essential Job Duties

• Work closely with the management team to manage TSA Family Store, ensuring sales and income budget expectations are met.
• Create a positive and mentoring environment within the store.
• Implement and manage Work Therapy Assignments (WTA).
• Take an active role in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, point of sale operations, inventory management, and ARC merchandising standards.
• Schedule store employees and coordinate morning and shift change team meetings.
• Provide coaching, training, and development to store employees.
• Process paperwork related to time and attendance, ensuring compliance with Review Standards.
• Ensure high levels of customer and donor satisfaction through excellent service.
• Develop strategies to improve service and enhance the customer experience.
• Support the Store Manager in managing back room processors and warehouse associates.
• Supervise and report on the activities of program beneficiaries, particularly when WTA are implemented.
• Ensure building security during non-operating hours and maintain safety measures according to ARC policy and regulations.
• Conduct and record mandatory weekly store meetings.
• May be transferred or relocated to other stores based on business needs.
• Complete all assigned tasks as directed by the District Sales Manager, Command Retail Directors, and Command Administration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year previous retail experience and supervisory experience preferred.
• Pass a background check, including a criminal history and sex offender registry check.
• Effective communication skills with management, store employees, customers, and donors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
