Sales Lead - Powersports

About the role

The TMBC Power Sports Sales Lead supports the Marine Group Sales Manager by providing direction to Outfitters, engaging customers, and assisting in achieving sales and customer service goals.

Responsibilities

• Supports a strong commitment to customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience.
• Engages customers in a friendly and timely manner.
• Supports the Sales Manager in achieving Sales, Gross Margin, Inventory Shrinkage, and Payroll Goals.
• Provides daily leadership, direction, and motivation to Outfitters.
• Maintains current product knowledge and ensures accurate inventory and pricing.
• Works cooperatively with the Service Department to ensure seamless deliveries.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and personal information.
• Prepares the showroom daily to ensure proper signage and product condition.
• Generates and manages leads and prospects in the CRM tool.
• Aids Sales Consultants in training and CRM application.
• Solves customer and Outfitter opportunities and assists in Special Events coordination.
• Assists the Sales Manager in supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, training, and performance evaluation.
• Meets and exceeds individual sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a Retail or Sales environment.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, read and analyze reports, present information, and conduct meetings.
• Proficiency with PC-based software and systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships.

• Calculating discounts, commissions, and percentages.
• Reading and analyzing reports.
• Presenting information and responding to questions.
• Conducting meetings and making presentations.
• Using PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data management, and inventory management systems.
