Sales Floor Supervisor - Town & Country Plaza
About the Role
As the Sales Floor Supervisor, you are accountable for driving customer service to achieve profitable sales growth by leading and engaging associates, managing company merchandise standards, and execution. You will train and develop associates to execute sales-building programs.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Sales: Direct customer service and sales activities in-store; resolve customer issues and concerns. Model and hold the team accountable for outstanding customer service. Actively listen to customer issues to resolve problems. Maximize sales and service by ensuring staff is scheduled appropriately.
- Store Merchandise Standards: Manage merchandise standards through Put to Fixture, SET, and Visual process execution. Maintain high merchandise presentation standards, lead the team in planning and executing all merchandise and visual elements in the store, including pricing and signing. Promote the company merchandise strategy and identify local opportunities to drive sales. Oversee efficient and clean recovery standards for the sales floor and fitting room processes.
- Omnichannel: Train, mentor, and coach all associates on jcp.com processes and transaction procedures related to delivery and return of orders. Manage all Ship from Store, Buy Online Pick Up In Store, and Curbside Pickup order processes within prescribed time periods. Monitor and share Omnichannel reporting metrics and take action to resolve issues.
- Specialty Businesses: Drive profitable sales growth in Fine Jewelry, Mattress, and Window businesses by leading and engaging associates. Oversee specialty associate training and care/protection plans. Manage SET processes, planned floor moves, graphics, and monitor the Productivity Standards Program. Identify sell-through opportunities and remerchandise the selling floor to increase the rate of sale. Oversee proper execution of defective and return-to-vendor/warehouse activities to reduce shrink within specialty businesses.
- Team Development: Teach, train, and coach associates. Partner with the Assistant Manager of Merchandise and Customer Experience Supervisor to source and hire store talent for hourly positions. Play an active role in training and development; coach in the moment and address performance issues.
- Performance Standards: Consistently meet established performance standards, including shrink and safety initiatives, Omnichannel, scheduling efficiency, associate relations, engagement, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

*For paid holidays, associates eligible for paid vacation (MTO) receive eight paid holidays during the calendar year. All store hourly associates scheduled to work on a designated holiday will receive additional compensation.
Pay
Pay Range: USD $19.00/Hr - USD $23.75/Hr.
